Comfortable bed, clean and tidy. Lovely staff. Situated in Solstice Park, so very handy for the A303. Good breakfast which set me up ready for the rest of my journey.
We had booked a larger room at this hotel but upon arrival we were told that there was a party in the restaurant that night and they recommended a smaller room that would be quieter. We still heard the music from the party, were in a quite small room, and were denied breakfast the next morning after we'd been told at check in that our new room included breakfast. The staff working the evening shift was helpful and the food at the restaurant was pretty good (we had dinner when we arrived) but the morning staff wasn't very helpful for friendly. Fortunately there are a few restaurants around so we got a great breakfast for less money. Biggest plus for this hotel is its proximity to stonehenge.
Stayed here Xmas Eve and night 2018. Room was nice and large with excellent facilities. Shower was a bit weak and getting the correct temperature was a bit awkward. Staff were attentive and friendly and the breakfast was excellent, something for all tastes. Paid a bit more than I would of liked, but it was Christmas.
We booked an Executive Room, and when we arrived the staff was worried about the noise from a party using the room downstairs later. To compensate they offered a smaller room at discount, which my wife took.While this is all well and good, they also told my wife we had breakfast in the morning, however when we came downstairs this was not the case - broken promises. Dinner downstairs was pleasant and prompt.The room was a bit cramped since we did not get the executive room I ordered. The room did need some more cleaning attention.Location was good.Room was older but pretty standard for decore. One star off for lack of breakfast - as was promised - and the bigger room I ordered.
We attended one of the very many Christmas functions there this year. The function was fine. The food was good and well served. The room (I was given an executive room because it was above the function) was lovely and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only issue was that the room was very cold and took an age to warm up.
