I can highly recommend this chip shop for large parties. We put an order in for 32 people last Friday for an event. the manager Ross couldnt have been more helpful The food was really lovely. Top pmarks. Would use again.
Very good fish and chips. Reasonably priced. Chip portion is usually bigger, hence the 4 stars.
Poor quality food, although the fish was a decent size, the batter wasn't very nice, we waited while they were cooked fresh, but the result was a big disappointment. The chips were ok, but we didn't get many. We got 2 free sides, the curry sauce was ok, however the mushy peas were a pale grey colour, thick and stodgey, we threw them away. A waste of money, we wouldn't go again and wouldn't reccommend this place, it's the worst fish and chip shop in Amesbury, in fact it's the worst in the whole Salisbury area, don't bother, don't waste your money!
Always had good service and the fish and chips are fresh, hot and lovely, use the discount card, even better.
Just had cod and chips from Harmless in Amesbury. I have seen more flesh on a goldfish! The chips had been re-fried and were like cardboard. There was more batter than any white fish, in fact it was a job trying to find any fish. What has happened, they were always really good.
